Overview

The report describes KYEC's 2016 sustainability performance across energy, climate, waste, workplace safety and employees. It reports 529,578.8 MWh of power consumption and a greenhouse-gas inventory totaling 214,145.739 ton CO2e/year, with Scope 2 accounting for nearly all emissions. Total waste production was 1,866.45 tons/year, while seven occupational disaster cases were recorded with no death or other severe work-related safety accident. The report also presents extensive employee welfare, health, training and social-participation programs.
