Overview

The report presents FY25 group performance of $1,066.3 million in operating revenues and a 303,021 t CO2e gross carbon footprint covering operational Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. It sets a 40 per cent gross Scope 1 and 2 reduction target by 2035 and a long-term net-zero carbon goal for 2050. KiwiRail also completed a stakeholder-led materiality assessment identifying 16 priority topics and describes oversight by its Health, Safety, and Environment Committee.
