The report describes KONE's 2011 operational environmental footprint, which amounted to 249 ktCO2e, alongside a year-end workforce of 37,542 employees. It records a GRI G3 Application Level B+ self-declaration and continued reporting under the GHG Protocol. KONE also disclosed that its Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions received limited assurance from PricewaterhouseCoopers Oy.
