Sustainability Report

The report presents KONE's 2017 sustainability performance, including 55,075 employees, 506,600 MWh total energy consumption, 319,600 tCO2e operational carbon footprint and 40,600 tonnes of waste. It reports a 3% annual carbon footprint reduction target relative to net sales and states that 30% of facility electricity consumption is green electricity. KONE's GHG emissions and manufacturing-unit water consumption were externally assured by Mitopro Oy under limited assurance, and the report follows GRI G4 Core.
