The report presents KONE's 2021 performance, including consolidated sales of 10,514.1 MEUR and year-end employment of 62,720 people. It describes a company-wide commitment to cut Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% from a 2018 baseline by 2030 and to achieve carbon-neutral operations by 2030. The report also details Board oversight of sustainability, TCFD-aligned climate disclosures and EU Taxonomy-eligible turnover, CapEx and OpEx. KONE reports that its Science Based Targets were validated by the Science Based Targets initiative.
