Overview

The report describes Royal BAM Group's 2016 financial and sustainability performance, including €6,976 million in revenue and a 12 per cent reduction in reported CO2 emissions to 203 kilotonnes. Its 2020 sustainability strategy targets a 25 per cent relative emissions reduction across Scopes 1, 2 and 3, zero construction waste aspirations and a net positive environmental impact. BAM achieved an A score in the CDP Climate A List and reports sustainability information under GRI G4 Comprehensive. The sustainability information was independently assured by Ernst & Young, with reasonable assurance for selected material themes, business conduct and safety, and limited assurance for other sustainability information.
