The report highlights Philips' health-technology strategy and its integration of sustainability into innovation and operations. In 2019, Philips reported a gross operational carbon footprint of 706 kilotonnes CO2-equivalent, with 68% of total energy from renewable sources, and maintained its ambition to become carbon-neutral in operations by year-end 2020. The company reported 80,495 employees and 1.64 billion lives improved. Green Revenues reached 67.2% of sales, alongside continued circular-economy and supplier-sustainability initiatives.
