Sustainability Report

The report presents Vopak's 2009 sustainability performance across People, Planet and Profit, and explains that the reporting boundary was expanded to include all operating companies managed by Vopak, including joint ventures. It reports a reduction in reportable spills from 103 in 2008 to 71 in 2009, while also recording 860 cubic meters of product spilled. Environmental discussion covers energy reduction, carbon reporting, hazardous-waste handling and water-management initiatives; the report also describes Vopak's first CDP questionnaire submission.
