Sustainability Report

Overview

The report presents Korea Zinc's 2023 sustainability performance through a double materiality assessment covering financial and social/environmental impacts. It reports 2023 Scope 1+2 emissions of 3,277,964 tCO2eq and Scope 3 emissions of 4,693,476 tCO2eq, alongside a roadmap toward carbon neutrality by 2050. The report also highlights renewable energy expansion, safety improvements, responsible minerals management and supplier due diligence. BSI independently assured the sustainability report under AA1000AS v3 using Type 1 assurance.
