ESG Report

The report presents KT's 2024 ESG performance and a group-level climate transition plan targeting a 51.7% greenhouse gas reduction by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2050. It discloses consolidated Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, alongside environmental metrics including 2% renewable energy use, 1,322 thousand tons of water consumption and 11,238 tons of waste generated. Social highlights include 122,087 beneficiaries and 6,066 activities through nationwide IT-sharing programs, as well as 5,039 employee volunteers. ESG governance is led by the Board and its ESG Committee, supported by an annual double materiality assessment and independent assurance.
