The report describes Kumba's 2023 sustainability performance across safety, climate, water, workforce and community impact. It records one work-related fatality, 0.968 Mt of Scope 1 and 2 emissions, and 34.7533 Mt of Scope 3 emissions. Women represented 55% of the Board, while water consumption totalled 8,784 ML and host-community procurement reached R6.6 billion.
