Overview

The report describes LankaBangla's 2015 sustainability approach across responsible lending, employee development, green banking and community investment. The company reported 1,211 employees nationwide and delivered 129 training programs totaling 17,014 man-hours. It had established a Green Banking Policy and Green Banking Unit, supported environmental-risk screening and green finance, and funded education for 64 underprivileged students. CSR activities also included tree plantation, blanket distribution and cultural programs.
