Sustainability Report

Overview

The report covers L&T's FY 2008-09 sustainability performance across its operating divisions and L&T Infotech. It describes a stakeholder-informed materiality process and reports workforce, energy, water, waste, safety and community performance. Current-scope GHG emissions totalled 3,278,674 Tons CO2e, including a reported Scope 3 figure from travel and employee commuting. The report follows GRI-G3 and includes an independent limited-assurance statement from Ernst & Young.
