Annual Report

The report describes Lenovo's processing of over 39.9 million pounds of company-owned or customer-returned computer equipment during 2008, with nearly 80 percent reused or recycled. It also reports completed third-party EICC compliance audits at five manufacturing facilities in China and India. The company says it dedicates one percent of earnings to corporate social investments, alongside environmental product-design and employee-safety initiatives.
