The report describes Lenovo's global sustainability program, covering 21,000 employees across six continents, a 10 percent carbon-efficiency improvement commitment by FY 2012-13, and environmental initiatives spanning products, packaging, recycling, and supply-chain compliance. During 2008, Lenovo managed more than 17,662 metric tons of owned and customer-returned equipment through end-of-life processing.
