Sustainability and Innovation Report

The report presents Leonardo's 2017 sustainability performance across its global workforce, energy use, emissions and climate governance. It reports 45,134 employees and energy consumption of 5,725 TJ, with 35% from renewable sources. Total CO2e emissions were 587,631 tonnes, down around 10% from 2016, while Scope I+II emissions were reported as reduced 45% from 2010 to 2017. Leonardo also joined TCFD in 2017, and KPMG provided limited assurance over the report as a whole.
