The report describes a resilient 2009, with global growth in the Levi's brand despite a difficult economic environment. It joined the Better Cotton Initiative and acted on product-lifecycle findings through sustainable-cotton efforts and consumer garment-care education. The company also publicly reported its 2008 global GHG inventory through the Climate Registry and Carbon Disclosure Project.
