Overview

The report describes Lewis Group's 2015 performance, including 8% revenue growth to R5.7 billion and expansion to 716 stores following the acquisition of 61 Beares stores. Its Social, Ethics and Transformation Committee addressed sustainability, ethics, empowerment and stakeholder engagement, while the group retained Level 4 B-BBEE status and qualified for the JSE SRI Index. The carbon footprint assessment reported total Scope 1 and 2 emissions of 51 365 tonnes CO2e and selected Scope 3 categories.
