Sustainability Report

The report presents LG Chem's 2012 sustainability performance across Korea and China, covering economic, environmental and social activities. It highlights 20,661 employees, consolidated sales of KRW 23,263 billion, total energy of 130,970 TJ and total GHG emissions of 7,755,462 tCO2-eq. LG Chem set a 23% GHG reduction goal against BAU by 2020 and describes climate, product stewardship, ESH, talent, supply-chain and community programs. The report was independently verified by Korea Productivity Center under AA1000AS 2008, although GHG emissions were outside the assurance conclusions.
