Sustainability Report

The report presents LG Chem's 2014 sustainability strategy across seven material-issue chapters, including climate response, occupational safety, talent, and social contribution. The company set a 23% GHG reduction target against estimated BAU emissions by 2020 and reported a 16% reduction against BAU in 2014. It reports 57,604,481m3 of water use and 24,928 employees at the end of 2014. DNV GL conducted a moderate-level assurance engagement covering data and information presented in the report.
