Sustainability Report

The report describes LG Electronics' 2012 sustainability management system, including Board and executive CSR oversight, stakeholder engagement, and a materiality analysis. It highlights a 150,000-ton GHG reduction target by 2020, with 113,000 tons of production-related reductions achieved by 2012, alongside global energy, water, waste, and e-waste initiatives. The company reports 86,697 employees worldwide and extensive labor, training, supplier-support, and social-contribution programs. The report was prepared in accordance with GRI G3.1 and received independent assurance from the Korea Productivity Center.
