ESG Report

Overview

The report is LG Energy Solution's first ESG report following its December 2020 split-off from LG Chem's Battery Unit. It introduces the CHARGE ESG framework covering climate action, circular economy, human value, EH&S, responsible business, governance and disclosure. The company reports 2020 environmental, social and governance performance, including 16,427 TJ of energy consumption, 206,056 tCO2-e of Scope 1 emissions and 23,344 employees. KMR provided independent Type 2, moderate-level assurance over the report's selected sustainability disclosures.
