Sustainability Report

The report describes LIC's revised emissions-reduction targets, including a 36.8% Scope 1 reduction target by 2035 against a 2018/19 base year. Its reported Scope 1 and 2 total for 2024/25 was 7,084.3 tCO2-e, 12.7% below the base year; Scope 1 biogenic emissions were reported separately. The report also details ongoing methane-genetics research intended to support lower-emitting dairy herds. At 31 May 2025, LIC reported 909.7 FTEs for permanent and fixed-term/casual employees.
