Overview

The report presents Lowe's 2006 social responsibility activities across employees, communities and environmental programs. It reports more than 210,000 employees and more than 25,000 new jobs, while describing recycling of more than 145,000 tons of pallets and more than 138,000 tons of cardboard. Community highlights include 96 Women Build Clinics across the country, resulting in more than 50 new homes.
