Overview

The report describes Lowe's 2016 social responsibility activities across community, employee, operational, product and supply-chain programs. It reports $33 million in charitable giving, 80,000 Lowe's Heroes volunteer hours and 1,009 homes built or repaired. Operationally, U.S. store carbon-emissions intensity was reduced against a 2010 baseline, and GHG reporting was verified by a third party. The report also documents 1,029 supplier audits across 863 factories in 31 countries.
