Sustainability Review

The report presents the company's 2009-10 sustainability approach, with reporting based on the GRI G3 Guidelines and external assurance by Ernst & Young (India) Private Limited. Coverage expanded to 93.8% of the Group's gross annual turnover from Indian operations, with materiality analysis conducted during the year. The company also initiated Group Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon-footprinting and reported detailed water and waste performance. Community investment continued at 1% of profit after tax.
