Overview

The report presents Masteel's FY2022 sustainability performance across two steel production facilities and its subsidiaries, including new Scope 1, 2 and 3 disclosures alongside TCFD. It reports 153,435 tCO2e Scope 1, 223,346 tCO2e Scope 2 and 3,649.02 metric tonnes of Scope 3 emissions covering five categories. The workforce totalled 821 employees, while the year included one work-related fatality. Masteel also states targets of a 10% GHG reduction by 2026 and net-zero carbon by 2050.
