Annual Social Responsibility Report

The report presents MAPFRE's 2012 social responsibility performance across its global insurance operations. It reports 35,586 employees at year-end, extensive training and workforce diversity information, and broad stakeholder programmes. Environmental disclosures include 839,396 m3 of water consumed, energy and waste indicators, and Scope 1, Scope 2 and selected Scope 3 carbon-footprint data. The report was prepared against GRI G3.1 and ICEA indicators and received limited external review by Ernst & Young under ISAE 3000.
