Corporate Social Responsibility Annual Report

The report presents MAPFRE's 2016 sustainability performance across a global workforce of 37,020 employees, with women representing 27% of Board members. It reports Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions of 13,445.24, 19,267.39 and 10,566.80 Tm CO2eq, respectively, alongside a 20% GHG reduction target by 2020 from 2013. Total energy consumption was 132.06 GWh and total water consumption was 709,834 M3. The report was prepared in accordance with GRI G4 and received limited external assurance from KPMG.
