The report describes Marico's sustainability work in FY2017-18, including the Kalpavriksha programme, which enrolled and benefited 2,681 farmers. It reports water conservation capacity supporting 80% of in-house operational water consumption and a 31% reduction in energy intensity from the FY2012-13 baseline. The report also records a 54% reduction in GHG-emission intensity against that baseline and sets sustainability targets for 2022.
