Sustainability Review

The report describes Marimekko's 2015 sustainability progress, including a new strategy extending to 2020, increased supply-chain transparency and more sustainable material sourcing. It sourced 252 tonnes of Better Cotton, approximately 31 percent of annual cotton usage. The company reached its energy-saving goal, used renewable hydropower for purchased electricity and reported 98 percent waste utilisation in Herttoniemi.
