Sustainability Review

The report describes Marimekko's 2018 sustainability strategy across timeless design, supply chain, resource efficiency, workplace and stakeholder engagement. It highlights Better Cotton reaching 64 per cent of cotton purchased, while biogas reduced direct carbon dioxide emissions from in-house operations practically to zero. The company reports 82 per cent employee completion of Code of Conduct e-training and 98 per cent of product purchases from non-EU countries covered by social-responsibility audits.
