Corporate Social Responsibility Report

The report describes Marks & Spencer's 2003/04 CSR performance, highlighting the launch of Marks & Start, progress in organic cotton use and continued work on sustainable sourcing, ethical trading and community programmes. It also sets out governance through a board-level CSR Committee and reports progress across products, people and places. Ernst & Young independently reviewed selected CSR claims and 2003 data sets including energy, water, packaging, transport, diversity and community involvement.
