Overview

The report presents Mashreq's first group-wide ESG report covering 100% of operations, including branches, ATMs and international locations. It reports a global workforce of 6,174, women representing 36.7% of the workforce, and 143,161.5 training hours in 2024. Environmental disclosures include 41,735.47 GJ of total energy, 118,681.5 tCO2e of total GHG emissions and 5,843,482.81 Imperial Gallons of water consumption. The report also describes board-level ESG oversight, a USD 30 billion sustainable-finance target by 2030, a net-zero operations target by 2050 and independent AA1000AS assurance.
