Annual Accounts and Report

The report describes a strong 2016-17 performance for the company, with Group revenues of €2,195.6m and net profit of €750.2m. It also covers the expansion of the Group through the Barclays Italian retail operations acquisition and the full acquisition of Banca Esperia. The report includes the company’s first voluntary Group Sustainability Report, prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards core option and covering social and environmental policies and performance. The sustainability section reports 4,518 staff within its scope, excluding 280 Banca Esperia employees acquired during the year.
