Overview

The report describes RMH's FY 2020-21 environmental and social procurement performance. Total energy consumption fell to 209,874 GJ, down 13.6%, while total greenhouse gas emissions declined to 33,004 tonnes CO2e, down 4.3%; total waste remained broadly stable at 2,369 tonnes, although clinical waste increased during COVID-19. RMH also reports $8.4M spent across 51 social enterprises and Aboriginal businesses and the introduction of medicine disposal bins.
