The report highlights Merafe Resources' increased share in the Xstrata-Merafe Chrome Venture to 20.5% and the on-time, on-budget start-up of the Lion Ferrochrome plant. It reports 2006 revenue of R1,030 million, up 68%, alongside a 234% increase in net profit after tax.
