Annual Report

The report presents Mercantile Bank's 2019 sustainability activities within an integrated annual report, including 60 solar-powered branches, 17,520 training man-hours, BDT 809 Million invested in renewable energy and environment-friendly projects, and BDT 156.77 Million of community investment. It describes a Board-led sustainability governance structure with a Sustainable Finance Unit overseeing green banking and CSR. Employee reporting covers 2,418 employees and 2,920 training participants, while environmental disclosures include 37,670 reams of paper consumed and 86,667 liters of diesel used.
