Sustainability Report

Overview

The report presents Daimler's 2016 Group-wide sustainability strategy and performance across product responsibility, environmental protection, employees, suppliers, and social responsibility. It reports 2016 production emissions, energy, waste, water, and human-rights information for the Group's majority-owned production operations. The workforce totaled 282,488 people worldwide, supported by extensive diversity, training, and occupational-safety programs. PricewaterhouseCoopers provided limited assurance over selected sustainability indicators and information.
