Overview

The report presents 2022 progress on Mercedes-Benz's climate transition, governance of sustainability, operational environmental performance and workforce transformation. It reports a 43% reduction in production Scope 1 and Scope 2 CO2 emissions versus 2021 and states that all own production plants were CO2-neutral on the balance sheet for Scope 1 and Scope 2. The Group reports 168,797 employees and a 24.7% share of women in senior management worldwide. KPMG performed limited assurance over selected sustainability disclosures, including emissions, energy, water and waste.
