Overview

The report describes Mercedes-Benz Group's first-time consolidated sustainability reporting under CSRD and ESRS, supported by a double materiality assessment. It highlights the Ambition 2039 goal for a net carbon-neutral new-vehicle fleet and an 80% reduction in production Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 versus 2018. The 2024 metrics report 130.5 million t CO2e of location-based Scope 1-3 emissions, 44.4% renewable energy share and 720.0 thousand t of waste.
