Overview

The report presents MSD's 2018 ESG performance across access to health, employees, environmental sustainability, and ethics and values. It reports 783,500 MT CO2e of Scope 1, 389,700 MT CO2e of market-based Scope 2, and 6,231,700 MT CO2e of Scope 3 emissions, alongside a 40% 2025 Scope 1 and 2 reduction goal. It highlights 14.1% renewable purchased electricity, a 15% water-use reduction from 2015, and 23% women on the Board. WSP provided limited assurance over the 2018 greenhouse gas and water inventories, but not the full report.
