Corporate Responsibility Report

The report presents Merck's 2016 Group-wide performance across health, life science and performance materials, with net sales of 15,024 € million and 50,414 employees. It reports 715,000 metric tons of CO2 equivalents, a 10% reduction against the 2006 baseline, while pursuing a 20% Scope 1 and 2 reduction by 2020. The report also emphasizes access to health, including more than 200 million praziquantel tablets donated to WHO, and support for education and the SDGs.
