Overview

The report describes Mercury's continued expansion of renewable generation and its company-wide effort to achieve Net Zero by 2040. FY24 gross emissions were 239,574 tCO2e for Scope 1, 521 tCO2e for location-based Scope 2 and 136,335 tCO2e for Scope 3. The report also presents its first mandatory climate-related disclosures under the Aotearoa New Zealand Climate Standards, supported by EY limited assurance.
