Annual Report

The report describes Metair's first incremental group-level sustainability disclosure for January-December 2010, covering economic, social and environmental performance. It says the group applied the GRI reporting framework and expanded its material sustainability reporting. Two subsidiaries measured carbon footprints, with Scope 1, 2 and 3 definitions disclosed; the group targeted completion of its full carbon footprint in 2011 and an initial 10% reduction in electricity use. The report also details employment-equity actions, ISO/environmental accreditations and group risk management.
