Overview

The report describes MetLife's 2025 sustainability work under its New Frontier strategy, including a 46,953-person workforce and verified operational GHG emissions of 9,901 metric tons CO2e for Scope 1 and 38,340 metric tons CO2e for location-based Scope 2. It reports 143,391 MWh of total energy consumption and more than 160,000 employee volunteer hours, alongside community grants and climate initiatives. Sustainability governance is led by the Board, with the Governance and Corporate Responsibility Committee and executive sustainability functions supporting oversight.
