Overview

The report covers METRO's FY2021/22 sustainability performance across climate and carbon, ethics and trust, and equity, inclusion and well-being. It reports 3,778,718 t CO2 (CO2 equivalents) of total GHG emissions, 2,030,070 MWh of total energy consumption and 87,509 average FTE employees excluding trainees. METRO reports a 60% Scope 1 and 2 reduction target by 2030 and a climate-neutral ambition by 2040. The sustainability information received limited assurance from KPMG under ISAE 3000 and ISAE 3410.
