Sustainability Supplement

The report covers Metso Group sustainability performance for the 2016 calendar year and reports under the GRI G4 Core in-accordance option. Highlights include 1,426 TJ of total energy consumption, 32,581 tCO2 of Scope 1 emissions, 98,020 tCO2 of Scope 2 emissions, 65,247 t of calculated total waste, and zero reported fatalities across employees and non-Metso workers. The supplement reproduces PricewaterhouseCoopers Oy's limited assurance report covering selected economic, social and environmental disclosures.
