Sustainability Statement

The report presents Metso's 2025 sustainability performance under ESRS and describes renewed, SBTi-validated climate targets, including a 100% absolute reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 and net zero across Scopes 1, 2 and 3 by 2050. Group energy consumption was 387,667 MWh, with 47% from renewable sources. Metso reported zero fatalities for own and external employees and 17,982 employees at year-end.
