Corporate Responsibility Report

The report describes Millicom's sharpened corporate responsibility strategy around five priority areas, including diversity, child protection, privacy, responsible supply chains and environmental protection. It reports a 39% reduction in CO2 emissions per base station from the 2008 base year and continued energy-efficiency and e-waste initiatives. The report also highlights digital inclusion programmes, community investment and workplace safety performance, including seven fatalities in 2014. Selected sustainability performance information was independently assured by DNV GL under AA1000AS (2008).
